Striving for structure in chaos

Being human is looking for structure in chaos.

Think about it... a few cells in the primordial soup coming together to have a structure around the same goal, a meaning: survive and multiply.

The million-celled organism that evolved as a result sought others of its kind, forming the structure that we call society with the same goal and the same meaning.

And wherever we touch, we bring structure: stories create a structure of our experiences. Songs create structures of random sounds. And these structures are our essence, we create them and we can't do without them...

But what's more essential to our being than the structures themselves is the seeking of them. Imagine a world where there isn't the smidgen of chaos, nothing to strive for, nothing left to create... We would die.

Therefore, I wonder if that is why we are destroying as we are creating. Destroying what was created before, so it can be created again, in a different way.

Just like Mother Nature does: create life-forms, only to destroy them later and create new ones. So, can we say we are the face of Mother Nature, it's reflection?
